British designer Hussein Chalayan has teamed up with J Brand to lend his uninhibited creativity to the LA denim brand. The collaboration has resulted in three styles — a skinny, a boyfriend and a capri cut — all of which come in a heavily saturated indigo wash. Infused with experimental touches such as shifted side seams and circular cuts, Chalayan’s signature is out in force. The range will go on sale in September at a select number of retailers including Dover Street Market and Selfridges in London.
