Calvin Klein Jeans, a division of Warnaco (, announced today that it will launch CK39, a new line of men’s and women’s premium denim, at the MAGIC show in Las Vegas next week.

CK39, which takes its name from the location of Calvin Klein’s business and headquarters on 39th Street in New York City, will be sold exclusively throughout North America at better specialty stores and high-end department stores.

The jeans will feature highest-quality fabrics, finishes and construction and use logos and hardware details to stand out in the thriving but already crowded premium denim sector. These features will include an engraved metal clip on the back left belt loop, logoed rivets on the back pockets, seam bindings, special waistbands and the name of style printed on the inside of each jean.

The jeans will retail for $145 to $225 per pair. Both the men’s and women’s styles will come in four different fits.

CK39 will also include denim jackets, bomber jackets, knit tops and T-shirts. These items will retail for $65 to $265. Initial deliveries of the new line are scheduled to arrive in stores in late February and March 2005.

This latest extension of the Calvin Klein brand is part of Calvin Klein Inc.’s existing jeanswear licensing agreement with Warnaco. Calvin Klein Inc. is wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation.
