C.L.A.S.S. (Creativity Lifestyle and Sustainable Synergy), a global network of three showrooms in Milan, London and New York supporting and promoting environmentally sensitive products for fashion, the home and design, and the unconventional trade fair/showroom GREEN SHOWROOM reported a successful turnout during Berlin Fashion Week, doubling its visitor count from its previous edition.

The new partnership with GREEN SHOWROOM, launched in July 2010, was one of several CLASS lined up to enter new markets and provide increased international support to its partner-designers and producers as it expands from a materials and textiles eco-library into the finished-product retail market.

Recently, CLASS announced a strategic partnership with Rosita Cigliola’s seimilano showroom to expand into the commercialization of ready-to-wear. “We’re not simply tapping into the green-fad in today’s style consumers,” said Giusy, founder of CLASS. “We’re working to innovate sustainably in the fashion and design fields because the market system as a whole demands it. Fashion people used to believe that eco and style don’t mix, we like to believe we’re proving them wrong one show at a time.”

CLASS’s next public showing will be during WHITE in Milan from September 26-28. It will host a space dedicated to eco-style, “Selection by C.L.A.S.S.”, that will feature at least 10 eco-designers and a dedicated space to innovation in sustainability.
