The British Fashion Council will bring a collective of London designers to Hong Kong from November 6-8 as part of London show Rooms, sponsored by Li & Fung Ltd. Located at the central Space Gallery on 210 Hollywood Road, the showroom will feature London’s top womenswear designers including Jonathan Saunders, winner of this year’s BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, as well as Nicholas Kirkwood, Peter Pilotto and Roksanda Ilincic.

For the first time, this year’s event also includes six emerging London menswear designers such as Lee Roach, Shaun Samson, William Richard Green and E. Tautz. The event aims to raise awareness surrounding these newcomers by exposing them to Chinese media, creative and retailers and reinforces London’s reputation for menswear.

The occasion will coincide with the Creativity is Great launch, part of UKTI’s Britain is Great campaign that highlights British style and quality as well as creativity in Britain’s fashion, design luxury and craftsmanship. A series of events, breakfast discussions and talks will further serve to boost the face of British designers in international markets.

London show Rooms is co-curated and directed by Anna Orsini and Barbara Grispini for the British Fashion Council, supported by BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent Sarah Mower. Further sponsors include UK Trade & Investment and the European Union.
