Now it’s fixed. Bread & Butter has announced its new slogan for next winter show. Under the Title “Big Time – for the bold and brave brands” the show is going to rock the location at Berlin’s Airport Tempelhof on January, 15 -17.

Among the new claim Karl-Heinz Müller announces also some changes for the next edition. There is no doubt that Berlin remains the home of Bread and Butter. Müller: “I am very proud of my company – selling it is beyond any question. Furthermore, I fully support Berlin; no other city in Europe could be any better for Bread & Butter than the German capital.”

But as one consequence of the discussed summer event he wants to bring the fair back to the roots of a more selected brands show. Müller explains: “We have no alternative but to select our exhibitors even more carefully in the future. Our relevant top brands expect a strict selection and the adjustment of their neighbourhoods. As a consequence, we will part with a number of existing, also long-term exhibitors.” Which brands are going to be cancelled he doesn't say.

Additional, Bread & Butter will restructure the hall concepts and create newly designed areas in close cooperation with the exhibitors; the neighbourhoods will massively change.

Bread & Butter was founded in Cologne in 2001 and moved to Berlin after three events in January 2003. Two years later, in July 2005, the show moved to Barcelona. At that time, no event location offered enough potential in Berlin. The Barcelona edition was also very successful; it grew fast. In 2009 Bread & Butter returned to Berlin, since the city of Berlin provided Karl-Heinz Müller a great opportunity with the airport Berlin-Tempelhof. July 2012 already saw the seventh edition since the return to Berlin.
