Before its official opening tomorrow, Karl-Heinz Mueller, president of Bread & Butter announced his future plans for the upcoming edition: in July he wants to re-establish a new area for contemporary womenswear: "This will not be about traditional womenswear brands, but about modern female urbanwear labels such as J Brand, Windsor, Cruciani, N.D.C. Shoes and Ludwig Reiter." His aim is to create the female counterpart of Bread & Butter's L.O.C.K. area that hosts mainly authentic and heritage style brands.

Further news affect the entrance fee policy of Bread & Butter: as the event became a highly attractive business spot not only for retailers but also for representatives of other fashion segments such as the real estate, distribution and fabrics sectors, Mueller will charge all these non-retail participants.

After the January edition Bread & Butter's headquarter will relocate and move from its current location in Muenzstrasse on a 1,700 sqm space in the Cumberland House on Kurfuerstendamm which hosts also the recently opened branch of the 14 oz. store.
