Many creative people have also used the Corona lockdown to realize new projects. Among them also denim legend Adriano Goldschmied and Beau Lawrence, founder of Ace Rivington. Inspired by the need for simplicity and durable products, they decided to launch Ace Gold Green, a brand built around one object, with earth-friendly materials and with a mission to inspire future designers and brands how to build something with little money.

Their first product, the Type One Tee, will be introduced in the course of June 2020 on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.com. Since both come from the world of jeans, there must of course also be a reference to denim, even if it is only a small detail. An indigo binding has been attached to the neckline of the t-shirt, which fades with every wash and wear. The 100% cotton free t-shirt consists of a mixture of natural fibers (a blend of hemp and bamboo) and is dyed with 100% recycled textile materials from Officina +39.

After Goldschmied and Lawrence the advantages of the Type One Tee are obious: The shirt is totally recyclable and biodegradable, hemp is an antibacterial fiber, bamboo is growing fast and has much less impact than cotton, it is produced in LA has a low CO2 imapct and is genderless.
