Barbour has created a limited menswear capsule collection in co-work with Australian motorbike brand Deus Ex Machina. The line for Fall/Winter 2014 includes biker jackets made from Barbour’s iconic waxed-cotton, knitwear and shirts with hand-drawn prints to complete the collection.
Ian Bergin, Head of Menswear at Barbour: “Deus Ex Machina is the ideal partner for the first cooperation of Barbour International’s menswear collection. It translates our long motorbike history into contemporary designs with modern fits.”
The Barbour x Deus Ex Machina collection will firstly be showcased during Berlin fashion week today (January 14) at 14 oz. store (Neue Schönhauser Straße 13) from 5-7.30 pm. The line will be available from July 2014 at selected retailers worldwide.
Moreover, Barbour has recently announced a new collaboration in their womenswear. For Fall/Winter 2014, the brand created a joint women’s capsule collection with Australian streetwear label Francis Leon. It includes waxed and step-jackets as well as modern, urban knitwear and will also hit selected stores in July 2014.
