The edgy, Anglo-American menswear brand Buckler has launched made-to-measure suiting under the Gansevoort Tailors label, known for its keen attention to detail.
The bespoke firm is offering fabrics exclusive to Buckler, such as a navy pinstripe in superfine wool, gray mélange in lightweight wool flannel, black wool mid-weight gabardine, and black wool lightweight gabardine with silk-satin pockets and collars. Jackets will be made according to tradition, with canvas interlinings and handstitching.
The company said its $1,200-$1,500 suits could be completed in five to six weeks, with handsewn finishes added by Buckler’s own tailors in New York.
