Berlin-based shopping club has broken even as it enters its second year in business. The shopping club posted an annual turnover of €25 million in 2008; it now expects to have a turnover of €85 million in 2009. counts more than 2 million members and 200 employees; another 200 should be added by 2010, according to CEO Constantin Bisanz and Christian Heitmeyer. “We are still in the beginning, but we are really happy about the big growing and growing number of members. We’ll profit from the economic crisis and we are on the best way to catch up with well-known US e-ommerce companies,” said Bisanz.

For 2010 company wants to enlarge its offer with new product groups such as furniture, electronic and cars. Future plans also include a focus on international expansion.
