At the latest Pitti fair, Blauer unveiled a new limited edition project called Original Edwin For Blauer USA. The special capsule collection offers two denim styles for men, one more tapered and the other straight, available in two weights (12 and 14 oz.). Each pair comes in different degrees of aging that, similarly to a wine, have been seasoned for three, five, ten or even fifteen years (see photo). Each trouser carries a label that tells the customer how the garment was conceived and what treatments and washings it underwent throughout its production.

The special collection was developed in partnership with Edwin Japan, with each piece hand-finished and made with Japanese red selvedge denims. The jeans will be sold at wholesale prices ranging between €120-180 and sold internationally at all stores already carrying Blauer for spring/summer 2013.
