„We‘ve had a very successful day!“, Bestseller’s country manager Lars Pedersen reports. „The place to be is about meeting our clients and to treat them with an exclusive set up and comfortable environment. We believe in Berlin's potential and wanted to present our brand variety at its Fashion Week once again.“

The Danish Bestseller group again, presented its complete range of brands at a single event to clients and press within „The Place to Be“ concept during Berlin Fashion Week on July 5th. Unlike the three-day debut-event in January, this edition took place over the course of just one day. The 4000 sqm venue Arena in Berlin-Treptow hosted a variety of 10 brands, including Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Only, Selected Femme, Selected Homme, Vila Clothes, Pieces Accessories, Object Collectors Item, Mamalicious, Outfitters Nation and Name It.

While most of the brands express-collections were shown at Arena only, Selected Femme, Selected Homme, Vila and Object were represented additionally at Bread&Butter Tradefair, showing the main Summer 2013 collections. „We still see lots of international growth potential in these brands and want to reach our to a more international customer base at Bread&Butter“ Pedersen adds.

The one-day fair was welle received by ist visitors and Arena remained packed thrughout the day. „Bestseller is one of our most important clients. The seperate venue makes it easier, to actually talk to people in an relaxed atmosphere. Yet, generally it is difficult for buyers to meet all fairs and appointments within only 3 days. It is impossible for us to even see one of the shows“, Frederik Brakel, Senior Buyer Zalando says.

The event was complemented by a closing party with live music and drinks.
