Running parallel to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the Green Showroom will be taking place from July 4-6 with a selection of fashion and lifestyle labels on show. 24 exclusive labels, all of which produce their collections in accordance with sustainable principles, will show their spring/summer 2013 collections at Berlin’s five-star Hotel Adlon Kempinski.

Messe Frankfurt’s vice president of Textiles & Technologies Olaf Schmidt is delighted with the positive outlook for the beginning of the fair. “In addition to our long-standing exhibitors, we are happy to announce many new national and international labels,” he reported. The following new labels will debut at this year’s edition: Anne Gorke, Cocccon, Edelziege, Malli, Muriée (Germany), Elvis & Kresse and SeeMe (The Netherlands), Flaviaanranha and Luiza Perea (Brazil), Genaro Rivas (Peru), Halasi (Hungary), My biotiful bag (USA) and Sarah Reinhard (Switzerland).

Other highlights will include an exclusive salon show for invited guests and a pop-up shop presented in cooperation with De la Reh, the Berlin-based green-concept store, as well as, a premium online shop for sustainable fashion. Additionally, the green shop will be moved to a new location at the ‘ewerk’ event centre where the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will present sustainable street and casual wear.
