British menswear brand Ben Sherman has launched a completely reworked website. On, users get a deeper insight into the different lines and campaigns of the label, and, for the first time, can benefit from fully integrated e-commerce. The site shall reflect the brand’s heritage and corporate identity. Hence, Ben Sherman’s flagship store on London’s Carnaby Street is used as a role model and retail store devices such as the ‘Shirt Bar’ are translated into digital features.

Customers can choose from the full Ben Sherman product range including shirts, tops, chinos and denims, jumpers and jackets, suits, footwear and accessories. They may shop by product categories, special collections (e.g. Plectrum by Ben Sherman) or themes (such as “winter layers”). Next to the shopping facilities, offers an embedded news area, feeding the viewers with the latest from the brand’s own blog and social platform appearances. The new site currently also presents “Conversations in Modernism”, a set of little videos, where pairs of international creatives and entrepreneurs discuss about what modernism means to them. There is a shipping fee of £4.95 for UK deliveries and €10 for the rest of Europe on all orders worth less than £100/€120.

The shop initially serves the UK and Europe only, but, according to the company, it will be opening its site for the US and Canada in February 2012, followed shortly by the rest of the world.
