Featuring a new interior concept developed with design experts, Brinkworth, Ben Sherman’s flagship store on London’s Carnaby Street has been awarded The Portview Fashion Retail Interior of the Year Award at the Retail Week European Interiors Awards 2012.

Following a comprehensive redesign of the brands interior identity, the 300sqm store relaunched in September 2011. Acclaimed for its attention to detail, the store boasts a retail experience that starts before setting foot inside, with a fully interactive window display. Here, passing shoppers can view garments on demand at the press of a button; upon selection, the hanging garments part to make way for the article of choice as it is mechanically brought to the front and displayed in isolation, spun a full 360 degrees, and returned to sit back amongst the display.

Inside, the clean and contemporary interior pays homage to A Heritage of Modernism, featuring icons of British design. Reflecting the brand’s authority in shirting, the centrepiece of the store is The Shirt Bar; a counter dedicated to shirting, and designed to make the task of finding the perfect shirt both easy and informative. Staffed by Ben Sherman’s comprehensively trained experts in shirts, the Shirteliers provides customers with answers to their questions and shirting solutions are delivered with a premium retail experience. This new look retail concept is currently being rolled out globally.
