British brand Ben Sherman has teamed up with Canclini, the storied Italian mill, to produce a capsule collection set for release in July.

The collection of premium shirts, expected to wholesale for £30, comprises five different styles in Ben Sherman’s “Soho” slim-fit. Three are offered in an exclusive tartan, while two are available in two popular house prints. Check styles come in a brushed twill with a micro button-down collar, while super fine, screen-printed shirts are available in compact cotton poplin. Other details include an ultra trim pocket, a box pleat and a subtle clash of patterns.

“By deliberately clashing the colors and designs on the internals, we have crafted five new individual styles of the highest quality while staying true to our mod heritage,” says Mark Williams, Head of Menswear Design.

In other news, the company will also offer an exclusive collection of four T-shirts for men and women using prints by London-based rock ’n’ roll photographer Ami Barwell. “Her photographs have a feel and depth that takes you into the shot, as if you are there at that very moment it was taken,” explains Mark Maidment, Creative Director of Ben Sherman, of Barwell, who has photographed artists such as Radiohead, Lenny Kravitz, Ian Brown, Kings of Leon and The White Stripes. The T-shirts will be available in stores also from July and wholesale for approximately £12.
