Launched in 2012, the Audi Fashion Award will return this year to support young fashion talents from Northern Germany.

The award comprises four categories: Modern Icons, Active Technology, Beyond Today and Sophisticated Elegance.
Until May 31st, interested design students from Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein can each apply for one of the themes with their concepts including sketches and moodboards. The jury will then select the best applicants per category, who will be given the chance to present their final designs during the Audi Fashion Award Show held in Hamburg during the coming fall. Winners will be awarded monetary prizes, internships at fashion companies and an Audi A1 for a month.

Amongst the patrons of the award are the fashion brands Closed, Escada, Vaude and newcomer label Barre Noire.
Dietmar K. Elaasser, General Sales Manager Audi North: "Fresh ideas from young people are important. We want to give budding designers a chance to realize their ideas."
