The first Art & Fashion Festival’s final fashion show will take place on August 25 at the Überseequartier in HafenCity and features the city’s longest catwalk. 200 outfits from the Überseequartier’s various fashion stores will be presented along more than 50 meters of catwalk called “Länge läuft,” featuring designs from Etage Eins, Stoffsüchtig, Marc & Daniel, Stilhaus Blocker, Steiff und Vingino, among others.
Another highlight includes the creations of fashion bloggers who took part in the festival, such as Sylvia Haghioo, Juliane Diesner and Martin Meyer. They composed several personal outfits for the “unÜBERSEEbar” show, which were presented on the catwalk and repeated hourly. The event also served as the young talent model competition’s final round, in cooperation with the agency Modelwerk und Etage Eins. The top 15 casted models will have to prove their talent while presenting the collections alongside 25 professional models. The winner will be awarded a contract with the Hamburger Agency Modelwerk.
“Länge läuft,” the highlight of Hamburg’s first Art & Fashion Festival, will be followed by an after party at the Stoffsüchtig store. The Überseeqaurtier in the HafenCity is an extension of the Hamburger City, which now reaches the Elbe. Alongside the 750 meter-long Überseeboulevard, a new district is developing to accommodate space for retail, gastronomy, living and working.
