Armedangels wants to be the world’s biggest eco fashion label. As one step in this growth the brand has created the position of chief product officer (CPO) and hired Patrick Götz to fill it. In his new role the studied environmental scientist is responsible for the entire product area, product development and merchandise management. He is expected to push the development and positioning of the brand within the men’s and women’s segments.
The eco fashion label currently has around 900 POS, including 550 in Germany. The remainder is spread across Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and the UK.
Götz was previously managing director in the creative consultancy The Fashioneers in Cologne, Germany and before that held leading positions at Esprit Design & Product Development GmbH for six years, including global business manager for Esprit Men. He began his career at Peek & Cloppenburg KG Vienna And Düsseldorf.
