Albert Sefranek, founder of Mustang Jeans, passed away on Sunday (March 2) in Künzelsau, Germany, at the age of 93.

Dietmar Axt, CEO Mustang: "Albert Sefranek was the man who brought the jeans to Europe. He was an entrepreneurial legend, without him the success of Mustang would have been unthinkable.“ The entire workforce of the Southern German company mourns this heavy loss.

Albert Sefranek was regarded as an outstanding person and entrepreneur. His work included social engagements in sports and culture. In addition, Sefranek served as the vice president of the Heilbronn-Franken Commercial and Industrial Chamber and was a well-appreciated board member of the federation of the German textile industry for many years.
