French footwear and textile label Aigle has announced its collaboration with English denim designer Nigel Cabourn. Their limited edition collection was presented for the first time at Bread & Butter in Berlin.

The fall/winter 2014 collection features six fashion items and three shoe models. Values like handcrafting, manufacturing and originals are the key elements of the cooperation. Aigle design chef Gideon Day is convinced that Aigle and Nigel Cabourn are a perfect matchup.

The men’s and women’s collection include vintage workwear jackets, a parka, a redingote and a skirt plus heavy leather work boots. The collection is inspirited by the maritime workwear look of miners and wharf workers of from the 1920s.

Nigel Cabourn is a passionate collector of traditional workwear pieces. The French label Aigle also emphasizes artisan craftsmanship and time-honored values.

The collection is available beginning in September at selected stores with retail prices ranging from €450 to €1,000.
