Fashion and denim brands are increasingly adding activewear to their seasonal collections, eager to get a piece of the juicy cake that was uncontested until recent times. Following the footsteps of J. Crew and Benetton –to name recent examples–, Guess is introducing activewear for men and women in spring/summer’17, a first for the denim brand.
Bold flower- and animal prints, bulky logos and heavy branding on bra-straps and shorts’ waistbands are key features within the ladies’ range, keeping up the level of sexiness that the brand is known for. The much-smaller men’s collection presents fluor colors and graphic prints on shorts, a tank top and a windbreaker. Material-wise, you can find pieces manufactured in functional materials like neoprene as well as pure cotton.
