What are the current bestsellers of your store and why?
Speaking about lifestyle brands, Jordan is one of our bestsellers as well as retro- inspired apparel and sneaker brands. Plus, since its Boost technology, also Adidas has become very successful.
Do people buy according to their favorite brand, style, or impulse?
Experience is mostly guiding our customers while buying here. This new store is highly engaging as we offer a wider selection of products and brands when compared to what is sold in the rest of the city.
Where do you order from? How do you inform yourself about trends?
This world is highly evolving and keeping pace is not easy. Communication with other people, insiders and aficionados is important but also finding information on websites and specialized magazines is vital for this process.
How important is the communication with regular customers? How do you communicate with them?
It is fundamental as social media are an indispensable resource. Nowadays working without offering our customers an e-commerce platform is also a must and it needs to be constantly improved. Also key is the word-of-mouth among Rome’s cool streetwear people.
How do the collections you offer for next s/s look like? And what are the most important trends, in general?
The trend of regular fits continues to rule in streetwear. Another trend from the US is also booming here and influencing our market: it is technical apparel worn when playing on basketball courts, also in colder months.
Did you add any new labels to your assortment?
Mitchell & Ness, New Era and Stance are some of the brands that have enlarged our offer in order to meet a wider clientele and, at the same time, also guarantee our clients an always more complete service.
How does your store differ from other stores?
We are doing our best in order to be a large specialized store that is well structured in each aspect – from merchandising layout to our very competent salespeople able to transfer our passion and knowledge of the basketball world - and not only of that.
What do you like about your customers?
What I’m mostly fascinated by is the feeling we establish with our clients and how this leads us to often speak with each other. We know there are many similarities among us all involved with the basketball world and its values.
How important is the interior, the atmosphere and the whole package?
The image of the store is at the same quality level as the products we offer. The store’s interiors are studied in order that whoever enters the store looking for basketball articles can understand immediately that they came to the right place.
We always want to strike our visitors by showing great care for details – as we did, for instance, by creating a small basketball field inside the store – but always making them feel at ease. Our aim in creating this store was not creating a place for demand and offer, but rather a place where people can share the same passions and can exchange opinions.
