Shortly after the announcement to postpone the premiere of denim fabrics trade show Denimsandjeans Japan to be held in Tokyo 4-5 March due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the organizers today released the new date of the show debut: It will take place 29-30 September, 2020. The initial location at Sunshine City Convention Center in Tokyo as well as the timing will remain the same.

Show founder and director Sandeep Agarwal states: "We have been studying the situation regarding the development of coronavirus. Though at the moment it is difficult to predict how long it will keep on affecting global trade and travel, we are really hoping that it will be overcome in the coming months. We also know that the global medical community, especially the Chinese medical community and people in general at this moment, are resilient and will overcome this scourge soon. Keeping all factors in mind, including the international trade calendar, suitability for exhibitor and buyer visits, we decide to keep our show on a new date, ie 29-30 September. We hope that all international visitors who had held up/canceled their visits due to the virus situation would be able to replan and visit us."

Denimsandjeans runs additional denim events this year in Vietnam (28-29 May, Ho Chi Minh City) and in India (8-9 July, Bangalore).
