Martin Gaffal is the new country manager for Germany at Peak Performance and succeeds Andreas Scheibe, who left the company at the end of September to face new professional challenges. Gaffal, 34, began his career with the AMER Group and held various positions in sales and marketing. Most recently he was the key account manager for the German market at the sportswear manufacturer Schöffel.
Here, he shares his private side.

Munich City Center.
How would you describe your clothing style?
Something between sportswear and classic–I’m no fashion victim.

I’m not kidding: a Peak Performance hoodie I bought some years ago. A must-have for me for hanging out, travelling or when having an active lifestyle!
What was your first pair of jeans?
I guess a Levi’s 501 in the ’90s.
What don't you like about the fashion industry?
Many items are not build to last and people wear them once or twice and throw them away.

None of them.
...newspaper or news app?
... sneakers or high heels/brown shoes?

Tending to brick-and-mortar.
...country house or penthouse?
Definitely country house.
