Patrick Valeo has been named as Diesel North America’s new CEO, effective immediately. He reports to global CEO Massimo Piombini and will lead the company forward focusing on consistent growth.

Most recently Valeo was president of the Americas and global head of commercial sales at MCM. Prior to that, he was president and COO of SMCP, vice president retail at Dolce & Gabbana and vice president retail at Gucci Americas.

He replaces Stefano Rosso who spent the last three years in the United States navigating the brand and its operations through a reorganization that included a three-year turnaround plan for all channels of business and marketing.

Rosso will continue to be part of the board of directors of OTB, the parent company of Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf, Amiri, Staff International and Brave Kid. OTB ended its 2019 fiscal year with consolidated revenues of €1,530 million (US$1.7 billion).
