He used to be EMEA manager at Lee for about seven years until he left for a two-year stunt at sports brand Spyder. Now Simon Fisher is back at Lee. Well, kind of. Because in his new position as managing director EMEA at Kontoor Brands he will also look after Wrangler.

As a reminder: Kontoor Brands runs VF Corp.’s former jeanswear organization and since this spring operates as an independent, publicly traded company, based in Greensboro, USA. While it includes the Wrangler, Lee, Rock & Republic brands, and the VF Outlet business, the European subsidiary for now will only take care of Lee and Wrangler.

In his role, Fisher will report to Tom Waldron, Vice President and Global Brand President, Wrangler. Apart from "leading the Lee and Wrangler business in EMEA, translating Kontoor's global business strategy into accelerated regional brand growth and consumer engagement", Fisher will also be responsible for exploring new markets and product categories. Nothing more has been unveiled yet by Kontoor.
