Amsterdam-based fashion house Zoe Karssen, led by Qunice and Zoe Karssen, expands its portfolio and introduces a new beachwear line: the small beachwear collection contains T-shirts for surf girls and bikinis and swimsuits for beach girls.
Every single piece is decorated with Zoe Karssen’s typical prints – e.g. with pink flamingos, palm trees, stars und cool statements. Like the entire collection, Zoe Karssens’s beachwear aims at mature women rather than teenagers; accordingly, the prints and statements never seem to be cute or kittenish. Retail prices range between 120 to 160 Euros.
Another new project for Zoe Karssen is perfume. Before Christmas they will launch three different kinds of scents, elaborated with a Comme des Garçon perfumer. “A lot of retailers buy vertical,” says Zoe Karrsen’s director Quince Karssen. This is the reason for him to extend the product range more and more, now offering easy-to-wear tops and bottoms with T-shirts, sweatshirts, jog-pants, knitwear, jackets and a denim line. Seasons ago, the label started with inside printed T-shirts. “We work quite hard to break out of the idea, that Zoe Karssen is still a T-Shirt brand,” says Quince Karssen.

In addition, Zoe Karssen now offers lower price points. Denim, for example, starts at 105 Euro in retail and ends at 120 Euro. And what about Zoe Karssen’s most beloved silhouettes? “It‘s all about skinny and boyfriend-styles,” says Zoe Karssen. Today, Zoe Karssen launches four collections a year, which are currently sold in 27 countries at 500 POS worldwide, among them key sales points such as Net-a-porter, Merci, Liberty, Harrods and Bloomingdales.
