Since 2013, Parisian trade shows Who’s Next and Première Classe have collaborated with Not Just A Label, an online platform for young fashion pioneers, to organize The Future Of Fashion Program (see previous coverage here). This program constitutes a platform, which allows up-and-coming designers to boost their international development, by presenting their collection at one of the trade shows.

Now, the winners of the first edition of the program have been announced.

UK designer Kelly Love won with her eponymous brand in the ready-to-wear category and will exhibit her spring/summer 2016 collection from 4-7 September in the Fame area of Who’s Next. Before launching her own brand, Kelly worked for online retailer Asos and the Maison de couture Baccini & Hill in London.

In the accessories category, Spanish brand Väska came out top. They will present their collection at Première Classe. The brand collects inspiration from Nordic influences, since it is of Finnish/Swedish origin, combined with touches of Mediterranean aesthetics.

Additionally, both brands will continue to benefit from the extended support and a business plan aiming to raise a fund worth 20,000€.
