The upcoming edition of White, to be held in Milan from 16 to 18 January 2016, will present more than 230 brands, 15% more than at their June 2015 edition.

The show is expected to welcome about 20,000 visitors and occupy a space of about 13,000 sq. meters in the show’s traditional location in via Tortona 27 (Superstudio) and, for the first time, in the former Ansaldo area, in via Tortona 54, that usually hosts the February and September editions only dedicated to women’s fashion, where it will occupy two floors.

For its upcoming January edition, White will launch a new section – Sport - focused on a selection of brands influenced by sportswear. “We think that sports are influencing fashion very strongly today,” commented Massimiliano Bizzi, founder and president of White. “For this we selected some brands that take their inspiration from the active world, though offer urban contemporary pieces that can be worn every day.”

The new selection includes high-performance apparel and accessories for leisure time with a cool fashion twist. Among them there are Casbia, handmade sneakers employing traditional materials revisited with innovative technologies; Noncomformist, who mixes streetwear graphics with prints and embroideries; Les Geometries, who offers urban pieces that can be worn to the gym but also at aperitif time; Japanese brand Losers sneakers that are characterized by a “V” logo on their side reminding of the typical Japanese flip-flop upper designs; Levius, a footwear line made for people living in Venice where walking is the natural way for moving through the city with a logo that resembles a water drop, an element dominating Venice.

All-over prints and oversize models characterize C.Y.H. Clap Your Hand, a minimalistic image brand reminding of sports team uniforms and handwritten slogans. Also debuting in this area are Correlate, Halo, Han Kjøbenhavn and Monobì. In addition, Le Coq Sportif, Superga and North Sails will also participate in the show.
