Woolrich Woolen Mills has appointed Mark McNairy its next creative director. The decision was finalized upon its former creative director Daiki Suzuki’s recommendation and the company’s own search for a designer schooled in American craftsmanship and ingenuity in utilitarian sportswear. The move follows McNairy’s recent launch of his own new English and American heritage footwear collection called Mark McNairy New Amsterdam and his tenure at the Ivy League-inspired company J. Press as creative director.
