For f/w 2015/2016, US surf, skate and streetwear brand Volcom has launched a new denim series as part of the evolution of their Volcom Brand Jeans. They introduced the Form Fit, a jean model inspired by the natural fit of long time-worn jeans that look as if they were shaped upon their wearer’s body. This new style is available in two variants - Vorta and Solvers.

The full denim selection has also been redesigned and offers four different styles available in various washes. All fits have been upgraded with straight waistbands and straight outer seams for a better feel and look on the waist and hips. Completing the redesign of the collection, in addition to the characteristic Volcom details such as the “V” belt loop, the hidden cell phone pocket and the two piece coin pocket, are upgraded zippers and rivets.

The whole collection was also upgraded thanks to the employ of higher performance features such as enhanced moisture wicking fabrics, clean finished trouser interior providing less chafing, plus details such as a dual finish metal buckle button secured by a bar tacked piece of denim fabric and snag-free movement from embroidered rivets.

“We wanted to follow the brand history but also evolve by looking at the past and modernizing it,” explained JJ Gonzales, Volcom men’s senior denim designer, “It all comes down to the detail and we don’t cheat on the details which we really take pride in. We pushed for a super clean look while still staying true to the signature Volcom features.”

The new Volcom Brand Jeans are now available online and at selected retailers worldwide at retail prices between USD55 and USD80. Completing the launch of this upgraded collection is also the new Real Life Happening campaign featuring photography by Alexandra Valenti, Arto Saari, Matt Wignall and Gary Copeland who each brought their unique style and expertise to the brand.
