Vicunha Textil has set a new goal for its Argentina plant. They aim at doubling their production capacity from the present 800,000 meters of denim per month to 1.5 million meters per month by 2016.

The investment requested for the operation together with modernization costs for the plant are estimated to USD33.6 million. They currently work with 285 employees and are planning to create another 180 jobs.

This is the second time that the Brazilian denim manufacturer is expanding its Argentinian plant.
