Online-shopping club Vente Privée has taken a major stake in Vente Exclusive, an online platform for brand discounts with a similar business concept well established in Belgium and The Netherlands, markets where Vente Privée aims to grow after this acquisition by synergizing skill sets with Vente Exclusive. “This acquisition is a doorway to Northern Europe,” states Jacques-Antoine Granjon, CEO and founder of Vente Privée, on a corporate statement. The management team of Vente Exclusive will now be part of the Ventée Privee management team, but each business will continue being run autonomously.

Vente Exclusive was founded in 2006 by Belgian entrepreneurs Léon Seynave and Stefan Tournoy and managed by Peter Grypdonck. According to their official LinkedIn account, the company has 4 million members in Belgium and the Netherlands.
