New York-based fashion collective Vane has teamed up with Sebago, the original boat shoe brand, for its second pop-up store on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Occupying the location of the previous Vane for Sebago pop-up shop at 125 Rivington this spring, 125 houses an almost sci-fi like anodized steel exo-structure containing iridescent light rails and plexiglass cases highlighting Sebago’s snappy, handsewn Spinnakers, Lighthouse ankle boot and new Hartley loafer, along with Cat Footwear’s Legendary Raw UK collection of heritage boots. Exclusives to the store include the Miller, Peril and Bruce for men and Liv for women. (Other styles include the Jonas, Vinson and Morrison for men and Cassidy, Logger, Jodie and Missy for women.) The Cat men’s Classics Collection of boots, also presented here, includes the best-selling Alaska FX, Salvo, Holton and Second Shift. Lug soles not enough? 125 also carries Vane’s spring 10 jewelry collection and an artist series of tees specially curated by Vane. Through Jan. 15, 2010.
