Uniqlo has just unveiled its next expansion plans in Germany. In fall 2015 they will open a new store in the Leipziger Platz area in Berlin, in one of the major shopping quarters of the city, between Potsdamer Platz and Leipziger Platz, crowded by various international fashion and lifestyle brands.

It will measure about 1,600 sq. meters and occupy two floors, one on street level and an upper floor, and will offer a complete assortment of men’s women’s and kidswear apparel.

Uniqlo had already opened its first German store in April 2014, on Tauentzienstraße in Berlin. Berndt Hauptkorn, fast retailing group officer and CEO of Uniqlo Europe, commented: “Our new store opening in Leipziger Platz is the second and most important step of our expansion in Berlin and key development within German speaking markets.”
