The Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo will open a fifth store in Paris at the end of April 2014. Located in a mid-19th century building, a former foundry, situated on one of the most frequented shopping streets in Paris, Rue Francs Bourgeois, the shop consists of 820 square meters, which are spread over three levels. Designed by Tokyo-based design company Wonderwall, the new store will feature high-tech installations, including wall monitors and LED tickers. The historical characteristics of the building were preserved, showing a 35 meter high red brick chimney and different metal structure elements.
The commercial situation in the Marais district allows Sunday openings, which constitutes to be a supplementary attraction.
