Under Armour is placing big hopes in the European market to push forward the brand’s success story. The activewear label is renovating one of the old Citroën buildings within the Olympic Amsterdam area to make it the label's new European headquarters, due to be completed by the summer of 2017. The future head office will have 4,800 square meters of space, tripling the dimensions of the current headquarters, which are also located in Amsterdam. In response to a query by SI, Under Armour did not disclose either the current number of headquarter employees nor the amount of recruitments that it will carry out in the months leading up to the inauguration of the new premises.

In fiscal 2015, Under Armour’s net revenues increased 28% to $3.96 billion compared with $3.08 billion in the prior year and reported strong double-digit growth in all product categories and regions.
