Under Armour, the global leader in sports- and performance-wear and innovation, has partnered up with Maxi Sport, three specialized sportswear and activewear stores based in the Milan area.

Under Armour was born in Baltimore (USA) in 1996 by Kevin Plank, US football player of the Maryland University team. It offers performance footwear, apparel and accessories and has grown into a highly appreciated high-performance apparel brand, which is recognized for its Compression Under Armour technology that supports athletes' bodies while giving them all the necessary freedom to move.

In the last weeks, the US brand has launched a collection in collaboration with Marvel's successful movie “The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron”, dedicated to Marvel superheroes such as Iron Man, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk. The tops of this collection are made with highly functional multi-direction stretch and highly breathable fibers.

Under Armour has also recently acquired two other brands: Endomondo and My Fitness Pal. Thanks to these acquisitions, Under Armour is now connecting more than 120 million global users in one of the worldwide largest digital health and fitness communities.

Maxi Sport is a chain grouping together three specialized sportswear and activewear apparel, footwear and sport gear brands founded over 25 years ago. Inside its over 2000 sq. meter store in Sesto San Giovanni, Under Armour has opened an about 80-sq. meter Under Armour shop-in-shop store. On the maxisport.com website they also launched a mini-website selling all of the latest Under Armour collections.
