The Agenda show has come to represent everything hip, happening and viable in the action sports, streetwear and lifestyle sector. And, this week, hot on the heels of the show’s flagship Long Beach event came Agenda New York. Located conveniently in the heart of Manhattan, this season’s show hosted 250 brands over nearly 100,000 square feet. Mirroring Long Beach but on a more intimate, edited scale, Agenda New York is the perfect juxtaposition to the East Coast menswear market and is ideally located for buyers in the Eastern and Southern United States as well as brands and retailers from Europe.

With an overall 30% increase in attendees, Agenda New York welcomed notable, repeat names such as Shopbob, Val Surf, Tilly’s, TopMan, Amazon and Finish Line as well as new folks like BrandBlack, Ransom, Zanerobe, Maui & Sons and Barney Cools.

“Agenda NY is the second show on our seasonal circuit and the format of the show is constantly evolving,” says founder Aaron Levant. “The first few were at the Chelsea Art Museum which was very non-traditional. From there we moved to 82 Mercer in Soho and we've now been at Javits for the past 3 seasons. Since moving to the new location, we've updated the physical looks of the show which has illustrated the rapid growth we're experiencing and has provided a global hub for brands, retailers, press and our partners that is not to be missed.”

Only the second stop on the Agenda world tour, New York proved a worthwhile buying and selling expedition. Surf’s up again at Agenda Las Vegas in August at the Sands Hotel.
