Australian shoe label Ugg has teamed up with the footwear company Hoka to create an all-weather-performance line for men and women using Hoka technology and soles. Hoka is considered an expert in Trail Running Technology, which was invented by two French long distance trail runners. The Eva sole is light and oversized and designed to minimize fatigue and intensify exercises and muscular demands.

The first women’s model is called Klarissa and is made of waterproof suede equipped with an all-weather-membrane featuring pearl details. The second model is a lace-up boot called Celiste, which is also waterproof and includes rolled-up lambskin. The men’s equivalent is the new Barklay model, inspired by Butte, one of Ugg’s bestsellers. Retailers can order the models starting now for their November release date with a suggested retail price of €120-150.

President of Ugg Australia Connie Rishwain said, “The Ugg Ultra Collection featuring Hoka technology stands for highly developed performance-winter boots. The models are a perfect combination of the luxury comfort of Ugg products and the incomparable absorbability and compliance of the Hoka shoe sole. We are convinced that active people who enjoy the winter outdoors will love this innovative product.”
