The most recent edition of the Premium fair (, which ran July 14-16 in Berlin, presented all exhibitors under one roof of the station at Gleisdreick for the first time. In all, 15,000 visitors attended the exhibition, which consisted of 20% menswear, 39% womenswear, 26% accessories and 15% shoes.

Compared to the winter 2006 edition of the show, there were 2,000 fewer visitors, or a total of 15,000.

As a special highlight, Premium presented a symposium that included among others, Sung-Joo Kim, founder of Sungjoo Gruppe and a member of the managing board of MCM Products AG, and Augusto Romano, CEO of the denim brand Meltin’Pot. Premium said similar symposia would be held again at future shows.

In addition, three young designers were awarded prizes in the categories womenswear, menswear and accessories. The winners were as follows: Macqua from Berlin (womenswear), Dean & Tyler from London (menswear) and Manuel Bozzi from Paris (accessories).
