Universal Music Canada (umusic.ca) has signed an exclusive merchandising agreement with Manhattan International Trade Inc. The deal will see Montreal-based Manhattan become the manufacture and supplier of UMC’s artist apparel.

“Manhattan is a driving force in the apparel industry and we couldn’t be happier to be joining forces with such an open-minded and creative Canadian company,” commented Randy Lennox. “Their commitment to quality and apparel design will allow us to provide music fans with a first class product that will compliment the music consumer’s lifestyle.

“Universal Music Canada are industry leaders with a roster of superstar artists that is unmatched,” said Ted Rozenwald. “We’re delighted to be working alongside Randy and his entire team developing and manufacturing product for their music brands.”

Universal Music Canada has previously released T-Shirts from Rush, 50 Cent, Dashboard Confessionals and Queens Of The Stone Age, and will release a Hedley T-Shirt through Manhattan on October 30 to coincide with the band’s sophomore album, Famous Last Words.
