From July 10-11, Modefabriek will open its doors again at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam. The trade show comes back with big novelties for Mint, the progressive platform for sustainable fashion and lifestyle where individual visitors will be able to buy products from exhibiting brands for the first time this edition. “We are shifting the focus more towards seasonless production that allows designs to keep their value,” says co-founder Marieke Eyskoot. Mint will host brands such as Wintervacht, Anne Gorke, Komodo, Kuyichi or O My Bag, among others.
In District D, Modefabriek is introducing Prospect, a talent platform showcasing everything from fresh new fashion graduates to start-ups and designer labels, all of them chosen by fashion consultant Carlo Wijnands.
The industry-only show halls will be hosting brands such as Alberto, Anerkjendt, Armedangels, Bench, Ben Sherman, Camel Active, Colmar Originals, Deus Ex Machina, French Connection and Franklin & Marshall. Click here to check out the full brand list.
Besides their buying needs, show attendees looking for inspiration may visit ‘Exactitudes’. The exhibition, curated by Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek presents a series of portraits of ordinary people highlighting the diversity of fashion tribes out there. Stylist Floor Knaapen has geared up an exposition and shop at the same time called Nude vs Naked, which will offer a handpicked selection of nude products from brands such as Nike, Wolford or La Fille d’O.
