On Thursday 15 June 2017, in Florence, as Pitti Uomo Special Guest, Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh will present its menswear s/s 2018 collection together with a selection from its women’s pre-collection.

“I am honored I will present my work at Pitti Immagine Uomo for the first time. Pitti Immagine Uomo is one of most important platforms that marked the history of fashion through the years. My aim is to add a new unique chapter to this history,” commented Virgil Abloh.
Born in Rockford, Illinois, in 1980, Virgil Abloh is an architect, creative director and designer. After his degree in civil engineering he specialized in architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology, where, in addition to design fundamentals, he learned about the importance of team work.
He started working as creative director for Kanye West and also collaborated for Nick Knight, Riccardo Tisci, Kim Jones, Takashi Murakami, Olivier Rousteing, Giuseppe Zanotti, George Condo and more recently for Silvia Venturini at Fendi.
Caravaggio’s works, architecture by Mies van der Rohe and Rem Koolhaas, are mostly influencing Virgil Abloh who modeled his career upon the principles of a creative collective like the Bauhaus group.
Launched in 2013, the brand Off-White, which name is a synonym for a grey zone between black and white, offers a men's and women’s collection, a line of objects and design pieces and different publications expressing a cultural contemporary vision.
