Raw for the Oceans
For its Raw for the Oceans F/W 15 collection, G-Star Raw, Bionic Yarn and Parley for the Oceans once again got Pharrell Williams on board. Now entering their third season together, the brands have transformed over two million disposable plastic containers recovered from ocean coastlines into high quality denim jeans, jackets, tees and sweats. The result: a nautical inspired collection with jellyfish details and heavy washings - not only impressive due to its top-notch brand ambassador…

Cheap Monday
What’s on the models’s feet? Cheap Monday comes along with some very catchy and rather dark imagery for the fall/winter season. The individual pieces of the collection are just as unusual and inspiring: extremly flared jeans, batik dyes and scribbled words and messages on denim are creating a unique and underground look. Worth a longer/second look!

Gsus
Gsus’ current fall/winter campaign is an eye-catcher - not only because of their male model’s bare skin, but because of a well-conceived campaign and remarkable denim pieces. The brand shows heavily used jeans models in a dirty look here and there – including paint stains and ripped details. In addition, the model’s flashy colorful tattoos even seem to match the underlying carpet perfectly.

Paige
Again, Paige teamed up with super model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for a denim campaign which reveals a slightly edgier collection with an ‘80s inspired rock’n’roll vibe. Rosie doesn’t need huge fuss to attract all attention, therefore the whole campaign appears very unagitated. This also applies to the denim models: slightly flared or cropped and destroyed jeans and loose-fitting shirts in muted colors.

AG Jeans
There’s another style icon that also collaborates with a popular denim brand for the upcoming fall/winter season: Alexa Chung designed her second collection for AG Jeans. The campaign doesn’t come across as unstyled, but rather relaxed and authentic – just as if someone took some beautiful snapshots of the even more beautiful Alexa. The collection reveals adorable denim key pieces such as a short overall, buttoned up denim skirts, flares and shirts.

Tommy Hilfiger Denim
Sporty, sexy, young – and very American. That’s what describes Tommy Hilfiger Denim’s fall/winter collection best. In a locker room and a wet shower, the models show off denim pieces from head to toe, including short skirts, blouses and ripped skinny jeans. Held in the classic Hilfiger colors like blue, red and white, everything strongly reminds of college times.

Diesel
Diesel’sDecoded’ campaign for fall/winter made a splash in the world. In its campaign, the brand self-mockingly jibes at how fashion advertisings try to define what the world has to wear. Still, Diesel shows off denim pieces which combine glamour and casualness at the same time: glittering and transparent dresses and denim pieces combined with rough boots or studded jackets. You might or might not find the decoding concept silly (we all know, Diesel likes to ‘be stupid’), but it’s original and eye-catching without a doubt.

7 For All Mankind
For the upcoming fall/winter season, 7 For All Mankind presents its “Braided” jeans. As the name already suggests, the model has adorned braiding details on the front pockets and the waistbrand of her flared jeans - looking both feminine and casual at the same time. In its campagin, 7 For All Mankind stages the current ‘70s/hippie trend in a modern environment.

Levi's
Levi’s is going back to the roots: the brand’s denim campaign for fall/winter ’15 is kept simple and classical. Unlike most of the other denim brands, Levi’s does not bet on flared jeans. On the contrary, the “new old” skinny jeans model Levi’s Lot 700 is the focus of the women’s collection, promoted by world-famous singer and producer Alicia Keys.

Calvin Klein
Sex sells! The latest Calvin Klein denim campaign plays with the so-called internet phenomen “Sexting” and the social media affinity of its young target group. The campaign not only shows denim pieces but also offensive text messages – “raw texts, real stories” is what CK Jeans promises. There is no doubt that the brand reached its goal to provoke and start a dialogue about social behavior in the internet, but also the eclipsed clothing is worth a second look.
