A little bit of Cool Brittania has arrived in New York City in the form of Tommy Guns' new Ludlow Street location on the Lower East Side. The famed Soho and Shoreditch salon, founded in 1994, celebrated its opening with a party at Chloe 81 last night (this year’s Beatrice Inn) with co-owner Russell Manley, in tow. The shop, which features classic barber chairs in leather upholstery, nickel, mirror and glass cabinetry, and marble furnishings, is best known for its unfussy attitude and A-list clients ranging from Agyness Deyn to Noel Gallagher.
