The outdoor brand Timberland is celebrating the opening of its latest store in SoHo, New York City, with a photography exhibit entitled “Nature of a City.” PowerHouse Books, a publishing company based in Brooklyn, has collaborated with Timberland to provide images for the exhibit. “The photography in this exhibition tells the story of New York’s past, present and future,” says Sara Rosen, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Publicity at PowerHouse Books. Some of the featured New York based photographers include Janette Beckman, Vivian Cherry and Ricky Powell. The photographs will be displayed throughout the store and over two dozen digital images will be projected on the rear wall. “[Timberland wants] to pay tribute to the communities and consumers who have always supported the brand,” said Theresa Palermo, Senior Director of Marketing for Timberland North America. The exhibition will run from Mar. 27 through Apr. 29.
