The fifth edition of Super, the trade show dedicated to accessories and prêt-à-porter organized by Pitti Immagine and Fiera Milano, held at the Pavilion 3 of Fiera Milano City from February 28 to March 2, 2015, has confirmed the attendance levels of February 2014. According to preliminary figures they registered a total of 6,000 buyers, with 20% of foreign buyers accounting for the total.

The show presented 200 brands including both Italian and foreign brands that presented their f/w 2015/2016 collections. Among the top ten of foreign visiting markets were Japan, followed by Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Greece, China, Russia, Austria, Belgium, South Korea and the United States.

One of the major attractions of the show was the Super Talents special area that presented interesting new designers from Italy, but also the US, Nigeria and the Philippines. Among them and most interesting were AntiPitagora, whose items are characterized by prints of mythical animals and light effects, and Nigeria’s Ituen Basi who interpreted African traditions and colors according to an urban-chic appeal. Also Ken Samudio whose previous background is in marine biology, has studied natural forms of life and reproduced their tactile characteristics through weaves and colors using locally sourced, sustainable and recyclable materials.

Super also presented The Green Closet, a project organized by UK Trade & Investment and the British Consulate-General, which showcased a selection of environmentally sustainable fashion and design items all Made in Great Britain. They also presented a selection of Sicilian companies for the "Made in Sicily" project in collaboration with the Region of Sicily - Department for Productive Activities.
