The first edition of Première Vision Istanbul on 29-31 October 2014, for Middle East and Eastern Europe, closed successfully. About 154 suppliers from 16 countries were showing their new fabrics and garments for fall/winter season 2015-16 in the CNR Expo Centre Istanbul. About 9000 visitors from Russia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Tunisia, Morocco and Italy were visiting the fair.

Because of the Turkish holiday the first day started already busy in the morning and the second day was successful as well. “We are extremely proud and happy with the show. We didn´t expect so many visitors,” said Guglielmo Olearo, Première Vision’s international exhibitions director. Especially the second day was brilliant. The concept works and Première Vision is the Hub for Middle East and Eastern European Fashion,” continued Olearo. About 17 denim mills such as Calik Denim, Kilim Denim, Montebello, Realteks, Tusa Group, System Denim, Raymond Uco Denim, among others, were showing their fabrics. Most important trends: coated denim in different colors, power stretch, comfort fit, jog pants and smart boyfriend styles in dark washings.

“Power Stretch is our must-have. We didn´t expect so many visitors from Russia, Poland and Italy,” said Pinar Demirel Bula, Calik Denim. “Istanbul has a good position close to Eastern Europe and we are convinced that the fair will be established”, commented Olgum Oral, Kilim Group. Serdar Alsan of Realteks was very busy each day: “We also exhibit at PV in Barcelona but here in Istanbul we have made a lot of new contacts with East Europe.”

The Trend Vision Istanbul in the entrance of the hall was a mix of expertise and inspiration, trends and information, presented by Pascaline Wilhelm, Première Vision’s fashion director. Carlin presented four themes of womenswear for winter 2015/16 and the Trends Forum presented new suppliers and products. Next Première Vision Istanbul will be held at the CNR Expo Centre from 8-10 April 2015.
